Calvin "Kalvonix" Tiu is a rapper/singer/producer/songwriter/motivational speaker who lives day to day life in hopes to inspire others. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Calvin was often bullied by his peers. Walking on crutches or rolling in a wheelchair, Calvin began to feel useless and depressed. This was until he discovered Hip Hop at the age of twelve. Utilizing the genre as a mode of self-expression, Calvin made it his duty to help others through art and creativity. Teaching himself how to use recording software, Calvin currently has over 20 self-produced albums.

Currently a 4th year English Major/Counselling Minor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Calvin is hard at work at chasing his dreams. He has performed for the 2010 Winter Games, had an essay and academic rap album published in Texas, worked with Grammy-winning producer, Chin Injeti, formed his own high school outreach program encouraging kids to follow their creative minds and passions, as well as being recently awarded Surrey's 2015 Top 25 Under 25.

Calvin wishes that those who listen to his music/seminars will connect and feel the magic of creativity. No matter how hard life can be, there is always a way to cope. Music is his. Kalvonix wants you to find yours.
